December 17th 2001 (HMG) - [Put online December 20th 2001]
Although Óli and Holla have been maintaining their own website for our enjoyment over the last year, nothing beats meeting them and Adda and Halli in person. Unfortunately, Óli had finals to take on Tuesday and Wednesday, so we didn't want to disturb him, but instead accepted a dinner invitation from Halli and Adda. To our great surprise, Holla and Óli were there also, and we had a great evening! Of course we had to kick Ó&H out around 9:30pm, but Finnur and I stayed until 11pm, before parting with A&H (not to mention all the Icelandic candy) and going home.
We started out on the sofa, where Óli proudly claimed that it was his mission
this Christmas to look weirder than Augusto in every picture!! Look at him go!! :)
Óli and Holla (pictured here) have an almost identical camera to ours.
Their camera is a Canon S10 (we have a Canon S20).
Here's Halli BBQ-ing on the balcony. You must remember that it's warm outside,
something like 6°C (45°F), hence the shirt. The mushrooms were fantastic
and so were the burgars! He also made some grilled lamb, especially for Finnur, who loved it!
And then it was dinner time! Holla, Halli, Adda, Óli and Finnur
all getting ready to dig in! Wait for me guys!!
